Director of Social Media

November 2016 – May 2017

The Director of Social Media manages the Miss Amazing Inc. accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The responsibilities of the Director of Social Media include:
– Finding and compiling articles that speak to the Miss Amazing mission.
– Creating social media graphics in Canva and/or Adobe Illustrator.
– Scheduling around two posts for each day of the week using social media scheduling software. Posts for all seven days of the coming week are to be scheduled every Sunday at 9 pm EST.

We are looking for applicants with the following skills:
– Excellent time management
– Prompt communication
– Innovative thinking
– Previous experience with graphic design is a bonus

Content Creator

November 2016 – May 2017

Content Creators make up a diverse team of talent writers who are passionate about empowering young women. Content Creators are responsible for writing a blog entry once a month that speaks to a specific beat or writing prompt.

We are looking for applicants with the following skills:
– Excellent time management
– Ability to analyse social phenomena
– Creativity to approach topics in unique ways
– Previous experience with photography is a bonus

Director of Measuring Impact

November 2016 – May 2017

The Director of Measuring Impact plays an extremely important role in helping Miss Amazing evaluate and improve its services. The responsibilities associated with this position are:
– Assist with structuring a questionnaire that leads to useful data.
– Reach out to Miss Amazing attendees and gather questionnaire responses.
– Assist with analyzing data and presenting an impact report

We are looking for applicants with the following characteristics:
– Interest in nonprofit management
– Strong analytical skills
– Prompt and effective communicator
